the, dial system was completed. Tuesday by the Keystone Telephone Company,
William Hill, manager has announced.
Dial phones have replaced the old wooden ones and new phone books have been printed. The switchover represents many months work and an $11,000 investment by Mr. Hill. Phone users need not dial, "long distance" between Keystone and Arthur. Phone users in those communities now have "EAS" (extended area service), Mr. Hill said. Those in Keystone can get an Arthur number by dialing 764 plus the Arthur number. For an Arthur party to dial a Keystone number, it will be necessary to dial "6" plus the Keystone number. Arthur telephone numbers have the prefix 764 and Keystone numbers 726.
